Our Vision
We believe in Mississippi.
As many of us were born and raised here, we have witnessed the triumphs and the tragedies. We have seen our communities affected by unstable leadership in government, countless natural disasters, lack of funds for resources, and lack of education. We believe we are the generation who will change the future of our state. No longer will we be last in education, infrastructure, healthcare, average income, etc.
New Mississippi Youth encompasses Mississippians from the age of 13 to 25 of all races, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, cultures, genders, and sexualities. We believe we have the power to redefine Mississippi and its reputation in the United States. Our mission is to make Mississippi a better place for ourselves, our families, our friends, our neighbors, and the future generations to come.
